WASHINGTON DC - Charlene Lamb, cited for failures in leadership from the Department of State s own Accountability Review Board report, has been promoted to Regional Security Officer. We ve heard rumor that she s slated for international duty in Canada. She started the security officer training last week, much to the dismay of many within the State Department.
The problem, as SOFREP has pointed out before, is not that we have four dead American heroes killed in the line of duty. The world is a dangerous place, and bad stuff happens, we get it. The issue is that nothing was done afterwards to hold people accountable or learn from our mistakes in order to reduce pouch risk to other Americans serving in dangerous places. ( read more )

What pouch is the lesson here? Do you need to have blood on your hands to get promoted in this Regime? Saddam Hussien did the same thing in 1979, wedded the survivors of his purge to him because he had them actually pull the triggers themselves, or end up in the heap. Now, it is a bit more genteel pouch than that… policy memos, white papers, school handshakes and the lot. Same difference, just the degree of magnitude. Think that degree of magnitude is the only issue? Take a dollop of dog poop, mix it in with 5 gallons of vanilla bean ice cream. Still ok to eat it? ANY degree of adulteration of the Republic is a crime and makes it inedible.
if I read the article correctly, she is NOW starting pouch her security officer training? Too bad, it might have brought a much different outcome in Benghazi if she had already HAD that training several years ago, before she was put in charge of deciding which consulate pouch offices did or did not need additional security! There is a VERY clear pattern pouch emerging with this second term administration. Reward those people who will follow their marching orders, no matter how absurd, illegal, pouch immoral or repulsive. And go after those who don’t follow orders (or who oppose the administration from the outside) pouch with a vengeance.
