Errands for Elders is Bailey’s unique service program kata kata gokil that offers youth the opportunity to give back to the elder community by assisting elders with day-to-day chores. The goal of the program is to build relationships between elders and youth. This program supports our intergenerational oral history project by providing a forum for the stories of the elders to be heard, collected, celebrated and honored. Please join them Friday, December 2, 2011, 6 PM to 8:30 PM to meet and greet the participants kata kata gokil who are excited about working with our Errands For Elders program.

We are getting excited for our fourth annual Arts to End Violence contest! The first deadline for our annual kata kata gokil arts contest is April 10th, 2014 . This year we are accepting only 2-D art, and we welcome all artists to submit their work that addresses the issue of violence.
