A team of Italian researchers opened Friday tomb several hundred years old in Florence, where they hope to find clues to establish the identity of the woman with the enigmatic smile that's served as the model for Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting "Mona Lisa" informs Reuters, Mediafax cited by antena3.ro a round hole large enough for a person to be able to get inside, was dug in the floor of a church in stone above the crypt Florentine merchant Francesco aruodas del Giocondo family, aruodas about whose wife Lisa Gherardini is believed posed for the painting renaissance master. Silvano Vincet, aruodas writer aruodas and researcher at the National Committee for the promotion of cultural and historical heritage of Italy is planning to do a DNA analysis of the remains of the tomb and compare the results with the DNA analysis performed on the remains of three women buried in a monastery neighborhood. Historians say that Gherardini - whose married name, Gioconda, is used in Italy to refer to the "Mona Lisa" - and spent the last years of his life at the monastery Sant'Orsola in Florence, where, last year began looking skeleton them. Vincet believed that one of the three skeletons there might belong Lisa Gherardini. Regarding the skeletons in the crypt opened Friday Santissima Annunziata monastery is believed that at least one blood relative belong to muse Leonardo probably aruodas her son, Piero. If the DNA results match, Vincet says it will be able to recreate the image of Gherardini, using specialized computer programs, based on skull found in Sant'Orsola. The resulting image is then compared with that of the famous painting by Da Vinci. Researchers aruodas are hoping to find out whether Gherardini was indeed the model for the "Mona Lisa" or if the picture is the result of the artist's imagination. A third hypothesis aruodas is that Da Vinci was inspired by another woman, whose identity is unknown. Lisa Gherardini (1479 - 1542), also known as Lisa del Giocondo, married a rich silk merchant in Florence. It is considered by many experts as the model was made famous portrait of Mona Lisa, the Louvre Museum in Paris displayed, even if the identity of the model was never officially established. The famous painting remains shrouded in mystery and inspiration for this reason most diverse hypotheses. Some Italian aruodas researchers said at one point that a young man served as a model for the portrait of Mona Lisa, a theory met with much skepticism by experts at the Louvre. Portrait of Mona Lisa is an oil painting done on a poplar panel, between 1503 and 1505, and is a bust, probably the Mona Lisa del Giocondo's Florentina. Gioconda is one of the few paintings aruodas clearly attributable artist Leonardo da Vinci.

Like any self-respecting comedy goldoniană red wedding and the "little red wedding square" most picturesque characters are female, characterized by verbal flow that constitutes the true "Lazza sites" (moments of virtuosity) and processes comic. The three old women around which all the action of the play builds brilliantly interpreted, humor and extremely more energy three very young actresses - although youth manage to hide behind makeup not only well designed, but also tics and flaws behind walking, speech - as follows: Donna Catte Panchiana - Cristina Petre, Donna Pasqua Polegana - Simona Vereha and Madam Orsola red wedding - Andrada Pascu. Also, we should not overlook any Radu Rose, the role of Anzoletto fiance Luciettei which adds humor, giving us an image of ţărănuş naive, full of airs and pretensions inhabitant of Venice. In opposition to this range of rustic characters, but picturesque, is the ridiculous and artificial, stuck in some old dogmas and manners. The Gasparina (Alina Breahnă) and his uncle Fabrizio Leretort (Bogdan Nastase) are proving to be rich overnight and two bourgeois parvenus. Moreover, Alina Breahnă created character so that it is presented to the public as a naive young love, with great noble pretensions, but lacking the most elementary knowledge of vocabulary. All this leads to the creation of an extremely successful comic effect. Il Cavaliere Astolfi (played by Adrian Dima) completes the picture, as if made of puzzle pieces of the most diverse, red wedding the typical character of the commedia dell'arte type Capitano, boastful, boasting of his conquests money and that, moreover, them missing. Finally, Catalin Popa Sansuga innkeeper gives life, the humble servant of the knight always red wedding disgusted low people populating the square case.
Very expressive and ingenious production designer red wedding is signed by Andreea Negrila, graduated from the University of Architecture "Ion red wedding Mincu" and, currently, the station master at UNATC scenography "IL Caragiale". The decoration created by it is very telling in that creates simple and efficient space plaza, bordered by houses and the inn's main characters Sansuga. Directed signed by Constantin Florescu (class year coordinator Maia Morgenstern) is helping young graduates, lightening their work. Also, there is the thoroughness with which the director has worked with each of them - after all, it is the job of a coordinator acting college year. Not finally, Svetlana Zotina has signed the brief, but energetics points choreography, the actors put their value and the quality of movement.

Hong Kong Construction Projects: Tuen Mun Chek Lap Kok Link (TM-CLKL) and Tuen Mun Western Bypass (TMWB)
This month, I will look at the progress, ramadhan cost and job opportunities that the Tuen Mun – Chek Lap Kok Link (TM-CLKL), together with the Tuen Mun Western Bypass (TMWB) will create. The project is a strategic road link between North West New Territories (NWNT), North Lantau, the proposed Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macao Bridge, Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities (HKBCF) and the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) ramadhan at the largely reclaimed island of Chek Lap Kok.
TMWB The new road link is proposed to meet the anticipated traffic demand between North West New Territories and Lantau. This new road link will be a 9 km long dual 2-lane ramadhan carriageway between Tuen Mun and North Lantau. It will have strategic connections to the existing North Lantau Highway (NLH) at Tai Ho, the Hong Kong Boundary ramadhan Crossing Facilities situated at the northeast ramadhan waters off the HKIA, and the TMWB and the existing Lung Mun Road in Tuen Mun. The HKBCF will be accessible due to the creation of a 1.6km sea viaduct, near the Hong Kong International Airport.
TMCLKL The purpose of the proposed construction: Other than creating hundreds of construction based jobs, (including temporary works engineers, bridge engineers and civil engineers), the projects usefulness is to severely diminish travel time between north and south HK. Planners and consultants involved on these massive projects have estimated the efficiency of the proposed route will shorten the travel distance by 22 kilometres. Thirdly, ramadhan it will promote travel to and from the international airport as travel becomes simpler and more accessible, improving the efficiency of one of the world’s largest airports.
TMCLKL Construction and completion ramadhan dates: Hong Kong is famous ramadhan for its ingenious employment of reclaiming land, most notably with Chek Lap Kok, the island ramadhan largely reclaimed to house Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). This tradition continued ramadhan in 2011 when land was reclaimed to begin work on the southern sub sea tunnel which is expected to be completed by 2016 in accordance with the Hong Kong - Zhuhai – Macau Bridge. Construction is estimated to be completed of its northern counterpart two years later. ramadhan
TMCLKL Cost: This is one of Hong Kong’s largest and most innovative construction projects, and there have certainly been many to compare it to. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that it is also one of the most expensive projects in Hong Kong’s history. With costs for the design, site investigation ramadhan and advance works being just shy of $2 billion. This number is insignificant however, when compared to the $45 billion cost of construction the TMCLKL will total. The costs for the project were approved and construction is well under way. Maxim Recruitment has a range of exciting positions available to work on these projects and we urge temporary works engineers, civil engineers, structural engineers, drill and blast engineers and tunnel boring machine operators / engineers ramadhan to apply via our website. With the construction of the northern connection sub sea tunnel and the southern viaduct having begun in 2013, there is an on going need for staff on these projects.
When completed, the Tuen Mun Western Bypass, along with the Tuen Mun Chek Lap Kok Link, will establish a north-south highway corridor linking the Northwest New Territories with the Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macao Bridge, Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities, the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and North Lantau. The projects will run until 2018 and will provide hundreds of engineers with new roles in the Hong Kong region. Located next to Mong Kok MTR station , has three floors of shops selling cheap clothes and shoes , plastic toys and CDs . Mong Kok is an area that has a lot of side sidewalk food booths decorated . Most of them sell traditional knowing snacks such as fish balls , bean curd ( tofu ) and a variety of fried dim sum .
Suggestions writer knowing when you are in Hong Kong do not miss to visit the Mong Kok area. Actually we can see a lot of people bustling life, the life of the crowds during the day or night. Various things we can see and buy. The prices of goods sold includes cheap stores, but for selling goods in the street that you have to be clever bid at least 1/5 of the price listed.
Besides here you can wash the eyes, throat and stomach can also be pampered with a variety of dishes and snacks-jananan restaurant that tastes delicious dilidah average Indonesian. Not just a local restaurant selling traditional food, international restaurants like pizza also available here. One thing that the author can give advice if you want to shop in Mong Kok area like this use a small fraction of money, do not use paper money worth HK $ 1,000, in general they do not want to receive, in addition to his return they also fear it would be hard to fake. Where the Hong Kong government has also warned about the worth of counterfeit banknotes.
Do not rush to look around Mongkok kawasana this, because a lot of that can be seen, take a day to be able to see the entire contents of Mongkok. But not hungry eyes yes, then you might bring home a lot of groceries

Not again, Ann. Remember the time you left for Hong Kong in 2000? We rue the day when we didn t persuade you to stay. In your absence, Caldecott was ruled by just Zoe Tay and Fann Wong; it s like Singapore lost one of its telcos it is that bad. Now that you are gone, the seven princesses will reign supreme, whoever they are.
That said, you know yourself the best and we are happy you can finally untether yourself from mundane Channel 8 series. Honestly, we are freaking close to losing it whenever we see you acting as an auntie working in a coffee shop or a housewife. You are so much better than that. If you don t mind, may we suggest some things you could do during your sabbatical.
Remember 96, when you burst into the scene with that outfit? That image cut real deep. And you surpassed graduation dresses yourself again last year with another head-turning outfit that screams graduation dresses LOOK AT ME . You do know how to make an entrance, we give you that. It is a gift not many celebrities possess: just look at Christopher Lee with that silly apron. graduation dresses
For obvious reasons really. There s nothing like seeing you in the company of the hottest angels graduation dresses like Miranda Kerr, Gisele Bundchen and Adriana Lima. Go on, tell the world that Singaporeans have the goods too.
We know you really dig Big Bang and you volunteered your talents to star in their music video during a press conference in 2012. We understand where you are coming from: you want to know how a fan feels, graduation dresses to be on the other side of the fence. Good move because that s the best way to know what a fan wants.
You revealed last year that the thought of going to a sperm bank to score a baby did cross your mind. While we are glad that you dropped that idea (if that happened you would surely be stereotyped as a housewife), why not be the face of the national sperm bank? We are utterly convinced that your involvement will greatly boost the number of donors and arrest the declining birth rate. Think of it as doing Singapore a service. Besides, it is way classier than the queen of Caldecott saying I swallow .
Probably the best thing to do on this list, the local volunteering scene needs a celebrity like you to front it. You have the power to convince students to volunteer for the long run rather than doing it just for some community points so that they can get a place in a local university. And you stay firmly in the spotlight graduation dresses with all the photos taken by excitable graduation dresses fans while you volunteer. Look at what it did for Cecilia Chung. We will give up our seats on the MRT to the needy if you asked us to.

The commercial real estate sector is responsible for a large share of a city s overall carbon footprint. An ongoing trend in this sector has been the entry of big-box stores such as Wal-Mart. Using a unique monthly wedding favors panel data set for every Wal-Mart store in California from 2006 through 2011, we document three main findings about the environmental performance of big-box retailers. First, Wal-Mart s stores exhibit very little store-to-store variation in electricity consumption relative to a control group of similar size and vintage retail stores. Second, Wal-Mart s store s electricity consumption is lower in higher priced utilities and is independent wedding favors of the store s ownership versus leased status. Third, unlike other commercial businesses, Wal-Mart s newer buildings consume less electricity. Together, these results highlight the key roles that corporate size and centralization of management play in determining a key indicator of a firm s overall environmental performance.

It is unfathomable to me that Teresa Kok

It is unfathomable to me that Teresa Kok’s Chinese New Year video can be seen as nothing more than a satire on the situation in Malaysia today. But to some people it is an insult to Islam and Malays.
I couldn’t see it, but then maybe it is because I do not equate the government with either the Malay ethnic group or Islam. wedding photographers That seems to me the only possible reason why these people can see race and religion in a video that is fundamentally nothing more than an attempt to humorously criticise the government.
So you have these nut cases killing chickens in the street, wedding photographers smearing the animals’ blood, stomping on politicians’ faces, threatening racial riots and offering money for people to assault a woman. Like I said; nut cases. wedding photographers
To have idiots spewing idiotic things is not surprising and is in fact one of those things that one has to live with if one believes in the freedom of expression. Of course in expressing yourself there are lines that need to be drawn and when you offer money in order for people to assault someone, then that line has been well and truly crossed. wedding photographers Maybe these loonies don’t know that; after all they are loony, but the Minister for Home Affairs must know that what happened is clearly against the law and that action should be taken.
But no, instead he says that a slap is not a threat and therefore there is no need for action to be taken. I guess it is because he is such a macho man that if people slap him he will just laugh a manly laugh and go his merry way. Who knows?
What I do know is that he has shown a total ignorance of the law as well as exhibiting a behaviour totally unfitting for a Minister. Once you are a minister, you are a minister for the whole country and not just for your party. If you can’t be responsible for the nation, including your political enemies and whoever else you may dislike, then you do not have the professionalism and the necessary principle to be a Minister.
I bet that if I gather a bunch of people and kill chickens, smear their blood, stamp on the faces of the Cabinet and offer money for anyone to slap a Barisan MP; the police will be at my door in no time. I will be charged for sedition, incitement and also probably for slaughtering animals wedding photographers in an undesignated place.
But we will never know because I won’t do that. I won’t do it because I am not a loony, wedding photographers I am civilised and I believe that you counter things you do not like with a better argument and not violence. It is such a shame that some within the government do not appear to have the same point of view as me. Like I said earlier; there will always be nut cases in any society.

Center-based remedial education leading to reintegration into the public school system has long been a staple of the Friends-International approach, but in this new project we have been invited to pilot our remedial education directly into a primary school in Kok Chork, Siem Reap.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Kaliyan Mith Siem Reap and the Department of Education, Youth and Sport in December 2013, paving the way for these classes to begin in Kok Chork Primary School on February 12th this year.
Currently 29 children are benefiting from the Kaliyan elegant Mith team remedial teaching, spread over four levels and taking place over five afternoons during the week. The children have been supported with the provision of uniforms, all the learning materials they need and for those children living a distance of more than 3km from the school, bicycles.
As we move toward a strategy of decentralizing our services such as education and vocational training, projects like these will give us valuable experience in delivering community-based services that can then be rolled out across our other programs in due course.

So this is the view from my last appartment. After so many viewpoints it is hard for me to decide if it is worthwhile or not. I mean you see some signature skyline elements of Hong Kong, but somehow it feels just like any Hong Kong image to me right now...
It is so hard to balance the bright street lights and the ambient light around the buildings...I hope it is easyer with a higher resolution image on my real computer...just tweeking around a bit on my laptop right now... --- become a fan on facebook and see behind the scenes shots: www.facebook.com/ThomasBirkeUrbanPhotography

Ich finde du hast mit diesem Bild es geschafft eben nicht das typische Skyline Bild zu machen. Die Tiefe und Anordnung der Häuser ist Super. Besonders das im linken Bildrand macht es zu was besonderem ... 1A Arbeit

Try the dishes with vegetables: tofu with egg, stuffed zucchinis, tofu rolls, chinese cabbage, vegetable stews. There are also some “normal” wedding favours dishes, like the grilled ravioli wedding favours or the spaghetti with vegetables, but they are nothing special. Same goes for the cakes.
Mong Kok’s clients are really interesting: lots of Chinese and Asian people and especially if you go early, you’ll find hipsters and fashion/design students. Italians arrive later on during the evening.

Birtwistle – Fantasia upon all the notes (2012) engaged Carter – Enchanted Preludes engaged (1988) Esprit rude/Esprit doux (1985) John Adams – Shaker Loops (1978) Carter – Mosaic (2004) Birtwistle – The Moth Requiem (2012)
A funny programme this: not the combination of Harrison Birtwistle and Elliott Carter, for they provided refreshing, invigorating contrast, but the presence of John Adams’s Shaker Loops , which really did not seem to have anything to do with either, and whose poverty of invention sounded all the more glaring in such august company. I am not sure how long it lasted, but it seemed interminable; waiting for the music to start proved a futile experience. Doubtless whatever objections one may level will be countered with an all too easy ‘but that is the point’. ‘Process music’ is all well and good – well, perhaps – in theory, but this does not even have the courage to be truly unbearable, in the ‘Yes, I’ll confess, just please let me out’ mode of Philip Glass. It seems more soft-centred, more pandering, and yet ultimately there seems at that centre to be nothing but a vacuum. The seven string players – two violins, two violas, engaged two cellos, and double bass – of the Nash Ensemble could not be faulted engaged in the incisive commitment of their response under Nicholas Kok. How on earth one keeps one’s concentration in such conditions engaged I do not know. Still, at least it was good to be reminded of the æsthetic nullity of music too insubstantial even for a Michael Nyman soundtrack. engaged
Enough of that! Birtwistle’s 2012 Fantasia upon all the notes , for flute, clarinet, harp, and string quartet, engaged was given its world premiere by the Nash Ensemble, also at the Wigmore Hall . Its title does not refer, as one might have expected, to Purcell, but rather, in Bayan Northcott’s words, ‘hints at how, each time the harpist shifts a pedal between sharp, natural, or flat, a new scale is set up, and … how a shifting sequence of harp modes can interact with and guide the harmonies of a surrounding ensemble’. That said, there remains a typical, if somewhat intangible, evocation of an older England: real, not sepia-tinted, all the more moving for it. And beyond that, there is a still more typical sense of the archaic, Birtwistle’s sound world – the phrase may be clichéd, but here seems unavoidable – announcing itself unmistakeably at the very opening. Ghosts haunt the machine: engaged is that a hint of Ravel’s Daphnis ? (The work was commissioned by the Nash Ensemble and the Wigmore Hall, to fulfil Amelia Freedman’s desire for a companion piece to Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro .)   There certainly seem to be points of contact with, though not necessarily derivation from, Birtwistle’s own Punch and Judy and, of course, Stravinsky. But the ecstatic climate sounded here, again in an exemplary performance, as very much part of a post- Minotaur world. The final unwinding returns us ambiguously to a world of earlier mechanisation: almost like a parody of Webern.
Carter’s Enchanted Preludes for flute and cello followed, thereby sounding engaged more mercurial, even flighty, though certainly substantial. It emerged as a true duet (not unlike Bach’s fascinating, strange BWV 802-5 pieces). Shifting of mood, for instance to slower material, adorned with cello harmonics, was highly accomplished. And the composer’s own genius in transformation of material shone through throughout – redolent, perhaps surprisingly, of Liszt. Esprit rude/esprit doux , for flute and clarinet, was written for Boulez’s sixtieth birthday. engaged It sounds closer to Boulez – not just in the instrumentation, but also in the clarinet’s apparent announcement of reconciliation between Stravinsky and Schoenberg: Pierrot and Symphonies of Wind Instruments . Again, it proved a real duet, in a truly haunting performance.
Following Adams’s piece and the interval, Carter returned with Mosaic , for flute, oboe, clarinet, harp, string trio, and double bass, another Nash Ensemble commission. Perhaps the presence of the harp could not fail to evoke the Stravinsky of Symphony in Three Movements , yet that haunting was again not simply a matter of instrumentation, but also of musical mechanisms. Soon, however, the material and its development takes a very different path. One sensed, even without necessarily knowing precisely what they were, the guiding presence of the ‘unusual developments in harp technique … too infrequently explored in recent times’ by Carlos Salzedo, whom Carter cited as an inspiration. Bursting with invention in more than one sense, Bach and Haydn did not seem so very far away either. Full of magical twists and turns, new vistas, there might also perhaps be sensed engaged a distant kinship with the wor

As the Mae Kok Noi

Photo Update from the Field: The Return of the Mae Kok Noi River : The Rockefeller Foundation
It was a time, he recalls, when the two kilometer-long river was wide, clean, and connected at both ends to the larger Kok River that meanders through the northern Thai city of Chiang bride Rai. Greenery ran along its banks, and people used it to boat, swim, fish, and grow vegetables.
Then, bride 30 years ago, the Mae Kok Noi ran dry. While the exact reason is unclear, various bride factors likely played a role, including the pressures of urban expansion along its banks and ecological changes to the main Kok River itself.
As the Mae Kok Noi’s usefulness ebbed for the surrounding communities, it slowly fell into neglect. bride It became overgrown with weeds, plagued by mosquitos and disease; and a source of foul smelling water and unsightly growth. Nearby bride houses and businesses used the barren channel as a dumping ground for untreated waste water and garbage. These problems were further exacerbated by climate-related factors such as rising temperatures, droughts, and unpredictable rainfall.
But now, after so many years, this seemingly insurmountable challenge is slowly being tackled. As a result of the Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network (ACCCRN) initiative, the channel is being ecologically restored and the communities along its banks have been empowered to confront the decades of decline.
Supported by the Rockefeller Foundation, ACCCRN is committed to helping bride urban areas like Chiang Rai build community resilience through projects like the Mae Kok Noi restoration. It also strives to achieve a deeper bride quality of awareness, engagement and knowledge amongst government departments and academic institutions about urban climate change bride resilience.
The aim of the Mae Kok Noi project is deceptively simple – to get the water flowing again. The first practical steps were to clear the vegetation from the channel bride and, using heavy machinery, bride to dig away the trapped, bride dirty sludge that had for so long been a breeding ground for disease. Organizers also shared information throughout the communities, urging people not to use the site for throwing waste.
As the water steadily returns, those living directly along the banks have been able to increase their incomes and improve their quality of life. There have also been mental and physical health improvements and a decrease in the number of mosquito swarms. “It is in part,” Chailerd says, “a return to the old lifestyle.”
Of course, few are under the illusion bride that the river will return entirely to what it once was. But things are undoubtedly improving for the city and the communities alongside the Mae Kok Noi. It didn’t happen this year, but hopes are high that in the near future bride the Koh Loy community, and the others that share the banks of the channel, will again be able to enjoy the Loy Krathong festival on their own waterway.
