Project : QURBANI - Eid Al ADHA 2012 Brothers and sisters you are all aware that by Allah s grace Eid Al Adha is fast approaching and Muslims all over the world are getting ready for the glorious christening invitations event. BEAMA in collaboration with CJM (Central Jamia Masjid, Southall) have organised the Qurbani to facilitate our members christening invitations to carry out their obligations with ease. Please refer to the attached form for details. It will be helpful if you can send your contributions soonest so that we have clear funds by 15 th October. Mr Bashir Ahmed and Mr Fazal Mahmood will physically oversee the actual Qurbani and the distribution of the meat. Both the volunteers are travelling at their own expense and their stay in Kenya will also be at their expense. We are working christening invitations with a group called Hamaat based at the Park Road Mosque christening invitations in Nairobi. Together christening invitations they will travel to the Kenya/Somalia border (refugee territory). Any BEAMA member wishing to accompany them may do so and should contact Mr Bashir Ahmed immediately.
They will be taking photographs of the event. On one of the previous trips Mr Bashir Ahmed and his team distributed 750 goats and sheep. Any surplus funds will be used for preparing food packages which will be distributed at the Ngong mosque on the outskirts of Nairobi.
