WASHINGTON DC - Charlene Lamb, cited for failures in leadership from the Department of State s own Accountability Review Board report, has been promoted to Regional Security Officer. We ve heard rumor that she s slated for international duty in Canada. She started the security officer training last week, much to the dismay of many within the State Department.
The problem, as SOFREP has pointed out before, is not that we have four dead American heroes killed in the line of duty. The world is a dangerous place, and bad stuff happens, we get it. The issue is that nothing was done afterwards to hold people accountable or learn from our mistakes in order to reduce pouch risk to other Americans serving in dangerous places. ( read more )

It’s nice to be giving props to Princess Sadface rather than bemoaning how sad she looks — girls night out hence the name — and brainstorming people who could help her flee the country. I just read the old Andrew Morton secretly-authorized Princess Diana book, and I’ve decided that Charlene and Albert are going through the old Chuck ‘n’ Di We Only Appear In Public Together When They Make Us, Which Is More Often Than We’d Like, And Wow, We Both Regret Getting Into This thing. Here’s hoping it ends way, way better girls night out for them, at least.

Not only is that shade of purple just divine on her, but her hair looks fantastic. She finally put some volume in it. And, I don’t know if I’m wrong about this, but I personally wish she doesn’t have children with Albert because girls night out I feel like it would be better if their “relationship” is doomed! And it still saddens me what happened to Princess Grace, whom Charlene reminds me so much of! I think she’s lovely and want her to be happy! She should leave him, stay in Paris and bankroll the Fug Compound! She could be our House Director or something and give us swimming lessons every Saturday before Intern George cleans the pool… Paris? Charlene? Champagne? YES!
Monaco changed their constitution in 2002 to remove girls night out the necessity of direct line descendants from a male heir. Am I the only paranoid one who rarely wears her expensive jewelry for fear of it being broken, lost or stolen? I’ve heard so many heartbreaking stories from other people, including my mom (who has her real wedding ring set on a safe, since our house was broken into decades ago, and wears a substitute that doesn’t mean anything to her)! Sad, I know! But, my dad still wears his real wedding band! I just need more occasions to wear mine safely, I guess!
I have quite a bit of nice jewelry (and a husband who enjoys buying pretty things almost as much as I enjoy wearing it. I’m lucky!) and I wear most of the pieces all the time. I guess I figure what’s girls night out the point in having it if you’re afraid to wear and enjoy it? I regularly take things in to have prongs checked, clasps replaced and all of it covered girls night out by my homeowners insurance.

Later that night, the Princess of Monaco attended the Monte-Carlo Boxing Bonanza in the most mysterious outfits of all time!
This dress is not Akris, Dior or Ralph Lauren, no one knows who made the fur coat or the shoes (At least we know the clutch is Akris), I give up! Also, the earrings are not Graff or Van Cleef and Arpels and the Palace wouldn't confirm anything...pfft! Okay, so we move over to the Sochi games...

Saint-German scored a goal first (probably when this pic was taken) but Monaco pouch scored one later and the two teams tied! Oh, and Char wore her camel Akris coat!

After vowing to modernize Monaco before her wedding spiderman cake to Prince Albert II, Char has delivered... in the form of a Starbucks. The South African-born princess inaugurated the principality's very first Starbucks on Wednesday, following through on a desire she expressed to The Telegraph back in 2010 to bring the coffee spiderman cake chain to Monaco.
As she cut the ribbon to Starbucks, Charlene wore a neutral-colored power ensemble (as she's wont to do) featuring a smart gray wool coat, a matching dress and nude pumps. But as elegant as she looked spiderman cake inaugurating the global shop, we couldn't help but wonder: Is a princess-endorsed Starbucks the end of upscale European spiderman cake coffee culture as we know it?

  The 26th and the 27th of January mark the Sainte Devote celebrations in Monaco. Charlene missed the celebrations of Monaco's patron sainte last year because cemetery of a cold so this time it was quite a come back!
Charlene wore a black Akris coat and a pair black thigh-high boots. Honestly,, I can't keep track of Char's boots, she has way too many! But I think she has a similar brown pair that she used to wear often. The next day, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene cemetery went to the St. Nicholas Cathedral for a mass.
Charlene wore a herringbone trench jacket, a grey cashmere turtleneck top and a jersey herringbone pencil skirt all by Akris. This outfit is really more complex that it looks, cemetery the different scales of the herringbone pattern give it an edge and make it look less boring, I also like that she opted for a plain top, otherwise it would have been way too much. Charlene carried cemetery a black Akris Ai pochette made of horsehair.
The pumps aren't actually plain, patent pumps, they have a greyish overlay from the back that can be seen in the photo below (if you zoom). Princess Charlene wears Dior pumps The pumps come from the fall 2013 ready-to-wear collection from Christian Dior. A view of them in black and powder pink is below. Princess Charlene's Dior pumps Finally, Charlene wore her hair in a soft side wave and wore neutral makeup and finished her look with her Tabbah diamond stud earrings. Her engagement ring was nowhere to be seen, but at least she wore her Cartier wedding band.
